RSAF Trains to Integrate the Orbiter 4 UAV in New Zealand
19 Mei 2025
No kiwis spotted…but the RSAF is in New Zealand for the Orbiter 4 New Zealand Training Detachment. Meet the Orbiter 4 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).
Our airmen and women have been training hard at Tekapo Military Training Area, sharpening their operational capabilities and integrating the Orbiter 4 into our UAV fleet.
Its small size and portability allows it to operate in a wide range of environments, enhancing our Air Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) capabilities to better support SAF operations.
Chief of Air Force MG Kelvin Fan also visited the training detachment last week to engage with our personnel on the ground and witness the progress firsthand.
