On 07 October 2024, the Blessing of the S-70i Black Hawk helicopters and the Bell 412 Trainer Aircraft was successfully conducted, marking a significant milestone in the modernization of the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing (250PAW). 


The acquisition of the Sikorsky S-70i Black Hawks, renowned for their versatility and advanced avionics, will bolster the wing’s operational readiness as they are reconfigured into VVIP configurations to meet the stringent standards required for Presidential transport, ensuring reliable and secure flights for the President, First Family, and other VVIPs. Equipped with state-of-the-art features and advanced communication systems, these helicopters embody the commitment to excellence in executive airlift missions.


Simultaneously, the repurposing of the Bell 412 aircraft into a Versatile Vehicle for Instruction and Proficiency (VVIP) Trainer underscores the wing’s dedication to training the next generation of aviators. This dual achievement highlights the 250PAW's focus on fleet modernization while honoring its heritage and commitment to operational excellence.
