Thailand to Procures Additional IRIS-T Missiles

The Directorate of Operations (DO) of the Royal Thai Air Force announced on 10 June 2024, the structure for building an armory and procuring additional Diehl IRIS-T short-range air-to-air missiles, with a budget of 256,552,000 baht ($6,996,237), which are weapons installed on the F-5E/F TH Super Tigris fighter aircraft of Squadron 211, Wing 21, Ubon Ratchathani, F-16AM/BM EMLU fighter aircraft of Squadron 403, Wing 4, Takhli, and Gripen C/D fighter aircraft of Squadron 701, Wing 7, Surat Thani.

The procurement project for Helicopter Bucket for Helicopters EC725 (H225M) Squadron 203, Wing 2, Khok Kratiam for firefighting missions, budget 108,000,000 baht ($2,945,669). Source of the median price is TAI Company, Thailand and Five Wisdom Company, Thailand.
