Thailand to Procures Additional IRIS-T Missiles

The Directorate of Operations (DO) of the Royal Thai Air Force announced on 10 June 2024, the structure for building an armory and procuring additional Diehl IRIS-T short-range air-to-air missiles, with a budget of 256,552,000 baht ($6,996,237), which are weapons installed on the F-5E/F TH Super Tigris fighter aircraft of Squadron 211, Wing 21, Ubon Ratchathani, F-16AM/BM EMLU fighter aircraft of Squadron 403, Wing 4, Takhli, and Gripen C/D fighter aircraft of Squadron 701, Wing 7, Surat Thani.
