Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) chief Admiral George V. Ursabia Jr, who retired from service on September 8, conducted inspection of the newest acquisition of PCG Aviation Force (CGAF), the Cessna Grand Caravan EX on September 4.
Ursabia conducted the inspection at DOTr Hangar in Pasay City.
“The said aerial asset will significantly improve the performance of the CGAF, particularly in the conduct of aerial surveillance, aerial search and rescue (SAR), aeromedical evacuation, and other functions of the PCG towards safeguarding the Philippine maritime domain and ensuring the safety of lives and properties at sea,” PCG said.
