The Philippine Air Force (PAF) continues to advance its modernization efforts with the formal acceptance and blessing of two newly acquired Bell 412EPX aircraft on September 15, 2026. The ceremony, held at Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Bashe, marks te formal acceptance of the second batch of aircraft under the PAF’s Additional Utility Helicopter Project.


The event was organized by the Systems Engineering and Modernization Office (SEMO, PAF) and presided over by Lieutenant General Arthur M Cordura PAF, Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, who served as the Guest of Honor.


These newly acquired assets are expected to significantly enhance the PAF’s operational capabilities, specifically in the areas of air mobility and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.


During his address, LtGen Cordura stressed the necessity of diligent care and strategic employment of the helicopters. He urged all personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of the aircraft to embody professionalism, competence, and accountability, ensuring that these assets are maximized to fulfill the PAF’s organizational mandate.
