Blue Spear is an anti-ship missile developed through a collaboration between IAI (Israel) and ST Engineering (Singapore), based on the Gabriel V system. It features an electronic counter-countermeasure (ECCM) guidance system, is capable of sea-skimming flight to evade radar detection, and can engage both surface and land-based targets. It has a maximum range of 290 km - more than double the range of the Harpoon missiles currently used by Singapore.

Singapore is adopting this missile as the primary anti-ship weapon for its naval fleet; it is replacing the Harpoon missiles on Formidable-class frigates with Blue Spear and will also install the system on the new Victory-class vessels currently under construction.
