Australian Army personnel from the 1st Aviation regiment conducted Exercise Griffin Guns during March 2026.

Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter from the 1st Aviation Regiment flies through the training area during Exercise Marlin Guns in the Northern Territory.

Exercise Marlin Guns is a live fire aviation training exercise conducted in the Northern Territory that includes arming, refuelling, and the firing of weapons from a Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter.

The exercise enables personnel from the 1st Aviation Regiment to maintain currency and increase proficiency within their respective fields.
