During a visit to the KAI factory by South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, images showed the assembly line of Malaysian Air Force FA-50M fighter jets numbered 05, 07, 09, 10, and 13, which have completed their fuselage construction.
The Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) signed an order for 18 FA-50M aircraft in 2023, with the first four scheduled for delivery in October of this year.
Malaysia is the fourth nation to acquire this family of fighter jets from South Korea, following Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
