Caxias do Sul (RS), – Agrale S.A., a Brazilian manufacturer with 64 years of experience in the automotive and agricultural sectors, has signed a contract to supply 208 units of the Agrale Marruá AM250 utility vehicle to an implementation company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, destined for the country's army.
The first units have already been shipped. The remaining vehicles are currently in production at Agrale’s Unit 2 in Caxias do Sul (RS), Brazil, with deliveries scheduled through the end of the year. The vehicles meet the applications defined by the client and local regulations, including a right-hand drive (RHD) steering system, the standard adopted in countries with left-hand traffic.
Application in severe operations
Developed for highly demanding applications, the Agrale Marruá AM250 is a diesel 4x4 utility vehicle delivering 123 kW of power, 600 Nm of torque and a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 5,700 kg.
The model was engineered by combining high structural strength with significant load capacity.
Built on a robust chassis and designed to handle uneven terrain and steep inclines, the vehicle provides strong off-road performance without compromising stability and safety. Its single or double cab configuration allows for a wide variety of setups and operational versatility, enabling efficient and safe transport of teams and equipment.
With this supply, Agrale begins its presence in Southeast Asia and advances its internationalization strategy, consolidating the Marruá as a solution for professional applications in international markets, in addition to its traditional use by Defense and Security Forces.
