Myanmar Witness, a civil society organization that analyzes satellite imagery, reported on June 4 that two new Y8F 200WB aircraft (aircraft registration numbers 5923 and 59 24) were found at a site at Kunming International Airport, China.

The three modern Russian-made Mi-38 transport helicopters arrived at the Nay Pyi Taw air base last September, according to the Myanmar Military and Security Studies Institute (MDSI).

The Mi-38 can carry 30 to 40 soldiers and carry up to six tons of cargo, and can conduct operations even in bad weather and at night.
