Delivery of 17 Boats CQ-01 and CV-01 to the Vietnamese People's Navy

On the morning of January 10, in Hai Phong City, the Navy coordinated with localities, units, and enterprises to organize a conference to hand over 16 CQ-01 boats and 1 CV-01 with a total support fund of 78 billion VND to Navy units.

Attending the event were Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan, Deputy Commander of the Navy; Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee; representatives of the Navy Command's functional agencies.

Attending were delegates from the provinces: Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, State Bank, banks (Agribank, Vietcombank, BIDV, Vietinbank), Vietnam Cement Corporation.

Colonel Nguyen Quoc Dong, Director of Factory X46, Department of Logistics and Engineering of the Navy, reported the results of the construction of the new boats. Immediately after being assigned by the Navy to build 16 new CQ-01 boats and 1 CV-01 boat, Factory X46, X70 under the Department of Logistics and Engineering of the Navy - the new building unit, developed a plan, technological process, and organized technical workers to perform the construction strictly. The materials and equipment installed were all of good quality and of the correct type. The Navy's Acceptance Council organized the acceptance, under the supervision of the competent agencies of the Ministry of National Defense . The results of the load test at the wharf and long distance according to the operating process were stable, the parameters were in accordance with the design, and the quality was good.

On behalf of the agencies, units and enterprises donating the boats, comrade Hoang Minh Cuong emphasized: With the spirit of all for the beloved Truong Sa, for the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, together with localities across the country, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Hai Phong City always turn towards the sea and islands of the Fatherland in general, as well as the officers, soldiers of the Navy and fishermen who are day and night sticking to the sea, guarding the sea in particular with many meaningful and practical activities, showing the deep affection of the mainland for the homeland's sea and islands. Hai Phong will always stand side by side with the army and people of Truong Sa island district and DK1 Platform, continue to do practical things for Truong Sa, for the beloved sea and islands, always have a Truong Sa in the heart of the heroic Port City.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Navy Command, Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan thanked the local leaders, units and enterprises for their interest in the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands in general, and the officers and soldiers of the Navy in particular. In order to continue to successfully carry out the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, the Navy  hopes to continue to receive the attention, encouragement and support, both material and spiritual, from the provinces, cities, units and enterprises; to accompany the Navy in building and developing Truong Sa island district to become the economic, cultural and social center at sea of ​​the whole country, a solid fortress of the sovereignty of the Fatherland.
