On Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11.00 a.m., Colonel Thanai Phuemphun, Acting Assistant Military Attache of Thailand in Islamabad, together with Major General Atique Ahmed, Director General Technical Heavy Industry Taxila (HIT), witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Mr. Kant Kulhiran, Representative of Thai Defence Industry Co., Ltd.: Thai Defence Industry (TDI) and Colonel (Ret.) Ajmal Rafique, Chief Executive Officer, Margalla Heavy Industries Limited, HIT, witnessed by Mr. Rashid Zahoor and Mr. Waqar Iqbal, Representatives of Paradigm Technologies International, the Pakistani partner.
Thai Defence Industry Co., Ltd. (TDI-joint venture between DTI Thaland and Chaiseri) has reached an agreement to sell 100 First Win (FW 4x4) wheeled armoured vehicles and transfer production technology to HIT at HIT, Taxila, Punjab. HIT is a defense industry organization under the supervision of Pakistan Army, with the capability to produce tanks and armored vehicles for Pakistan Army and friendly countries. The agreement to sell First Win wheeled armored vehicles (FW 4x4) this time shows the armored vehicle technology of Thailand that is beneficial in developing Pakistan Army.
