A new tranche of 18 Rafale should soon be put into effect. Indonesia had signed a contract in February 2022 for the acquisition of 42 Rafales. It could also acquire the 12 Mirage 2000-5 from Qatar.
This is good news for Dassault Aviation, which presents its 2022 annual results this Thursday.
According to concordant sources, Indonesia has released a budget to acquire 18 new Rafales after the first six entered into force in 2022 (about 1.3 billion dollars) .
