FORT MAGSAYSAY, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija – Aviators of the Philippine Army’s Aviation Regiment joined the 4th Quarter Military Sustainment Training of the Special Forces School, Special Forces Regiment, Philippine Army today, 14 October 2021 at Fort Magsaysay Army Aerodome, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
Utilizing Cessna 172N, Major Allan D. De Leon (Terminator), Pilot-in-Command and Captain Diego B. Guinanas Jr (“Solomon”), Co-Pilot released the military free fall parachutists at approximately 3,000 feet above sea level at Fort Magsaysay Army Aerodome.
The Military free fall is a distinct form of tactical parachuting used by the elite forces of the Philippine Army allowing the jumper the freedom to manually deploy the parachute at a specific altitude after a period of freefall.
